近年来，在世界各地蓬勃发展的孔子学院的教育与文化活动中，音乐正在扮演着越来越重要的角色。为了进一步发挥孔子学院在中国音乐文化海外传播中的积极作用，中央音乐学院音乐孔子学院办公室将于2013年12月9日15:00 — 19:00，在中央音乐学院举办“与世界分享中国音乐”——首届中国音乐文化海外传播国际高端论坛及主题音乐会。
2012年6月，经孔子学院总部/国家汉办批准，中央音乐学院与位于北欧的丹麦皇家音乐学院合作建设了全球第一所“音乐孔子学院”，正式成为孔子学院中方合作院校，并设立音乐孔子学院办公室专门负责此项工作。
运行一年多以来，音乐孔子学院本着分享、和谐、发展的精神，先后主办了首届“音乐孔子学院理事会”、“音乐孔子学院启动仪式暨首届音乐节”、“丹麦皇室夏季城堡专场音乐会”等多项大型活动，并与中国驻丹麦使领馆、丹麦文化机构等合作进行了大量多种形式的文化活动，引起中国、丹麦和法国等中外舆论界的普遍关注和良好反响，并获得中国国务院、中国驻丹麦使领馆、以及丹麦皇室的一致肯定，正在朝着建设成为欧洲“中国音乐文化中心”这一目标不断奋进。
此次“与世界分享中国音乐”——首届中国音乐文化海外传播国际高端论坛及主题音乐会，是以孔子学院在世界范围的大发展为背景，以音乐孔子学院的具体运行实践为基础，邀请来自美国、丹麦、韩国和国内的数十位专家学者及孔子学院中外方院长，围绕中国音乐文化海外传播，特别是孔子学院在音乐文化领域的发展和运作经验等议题，展开广泛研讨。论坛期间还将举办一场小型主题音乐，上演多首能够体现传统与现代，东方与西方相交融的经典音乐作品，让艺术的灵感进一步激发理论的延展。
会后，主办方拟将论坛主旨发言汇编成文集，呈送孔子学院总部/国家汉办，作为相关政策制定的参考与指导，从而将此次论坛的影响进一步提升和延伸。
立意鲜明、理论与实践相结合的研讨，并注入主题音乐会特色展示的创新模式，相信此次“中国音乐文化海外传播国际高端论坛及主题音乐会”活动，必将对“音乐孔子学院”的建设与发展、孔子学院在中国音乐文化海外传播领域的作用，具有十分良好的启示，起到积极的推动作用。
“Share Chinese Music with the World”- 1st High-End International Forum on the Overseas Spread of Chinese Music Culture and Theme Concert Will be Held in Beijing
In recent years, amidst the educational and cultural activities of the booming Confucius Institutes around the world, music has been playing a more and more important role. In order to further enhance Confucius Institutes’’ positive role in the overseas spread of Chinese music culture, Music Confucius Institute(MCI) at Central Conservatory of Music(CCOM) will hold “Share Chinese Music with the World”- 1st High-End International Forum on the Overseas Spread of Chinese Music Culture and Theme Concert in CCOM from 15:00 to 19:00 of December 9, 2013.
In June of 2012, after being approved by Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban, CCOM jointly established the world’s first “Music Confucius Institute” with Royal Danish Academy of Music(RDAM) in the Northern Europe. CCOM formally became the Chinese partner institute of MCI and established MCI Office to specially take charge of the business.
During the over one year since its foundation, in line with the spirit of sharing, harmony and development, MCI has successively held a number of grand activities including “1st MCI Board Meeting” in Beijing, “1st MCI Music Festival & Opening Event” in Denmark, “Special Concert at the Summer Castle of Danish Royal Family” in France, etc. and collaboratively conducted multiform cultural activities with the Chinese Embassy in Denmark, Danish cultural institutions, etc. which have aroused general attention and fine repercussions among the press circles of China, Denmark and France and gained unanimous appreciation by the Chinese State Council, Chinese Embassy in Denmark and the Danish Royal Family. MCI has been advancing constantly towards the goal of building it into the “Chinese Music Culture Centre” in Europe.
The convening of “Share Chinese Music with the World”- 1st High-End International Forum on the Overseas Spread of Chinese Music Culture and Theme Concert is based on the background of the rapid development of Confucius Institutes around the world and the operational practice of MCI. A dozen of experts, scholars, Chinese and foreign directors of Confucius Institutes from the United States, Denmark, South Korea and China are invited to conduct wide range discussions over the topics of the overseas spread of Chinese music culture, especially the development and operational experience of Confucius Institute in the music culture circle, etc. A small concert will be held amidst the forum, classic musical works that can manifest the blend of tradition and modernity, the East and the West will be put on to stimulate the extension of theories with artistic inspiration
After the forum, the sponsor will compile the keynote speeches of the forum into collected works and render them to Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban as a reference for making relevant policies, thereby to further promote and extend the influence of the forum.
