中央音乐学院外国留学生招生简章

一、招生类别及对象

1. 大学本科生: 具有相当于中国高中毕业的学历,经专业考试合格方可入学。学制四年或五年(作曲、音乐学、指挥、音乐教育、声乐歌剧专业均为五年),学习成绩符合我院学位授予相关办法的可授予学士学位。

2.硕士研究生:具有相当于中国大学学历,经硕士研究生考试合格方可入学。学制为二至三年。学习成绩符合我院学位授予相关办法的可授予硕士学位。

3.博士研究生:具有相当于中国硕士研究生的学历,经我院博士研究生考试合格,学制三年,毕业成绩合格,可授予博士学位。

4.普通进修生:具有高中或高中以上的学历,学制为一至二年,成绩合格发给进修证书。

5.高级进修生:大学毕业并已获得相当于中国硕士学位的学历,均可申请进修。学制为一至二年,成绩合格发给进修证书。

二、申请时间

1.申请本科生者须在每年12月初登陆中央音乐学院网站www.ccom.edu.cn进行网上报名,并于次年2-3月到我院参加专业考试,被录取者将于9月入学;

2.申请硕士研究生者须在每年5月登陆中央音乐学院网站查询当年研究生招生简章,并按简章要求报名、考试,被录取者将于次年9月入学。

3.申请博士者须在1月登陆中央音乐学院网站查询当年研究生招生简章,并按简章要求报名、考试,被录取者于当年9月入学。

4.普通及高级进修生,可分别在3月1日或9月1日入学前的3-4个月向中央音乐学院留学生办公室提出申请。

三、申请办法

1.凡申请公费来我院学习者,本人须在本国通过外交途径向有关部门提出申请。

2. 凡申请自费留学的学生可直接向我院留学生办公室提出申请。请先登陆中央音乐学院网站www.ccom.edu.cn下载填写《中央音乐学院留学生入学申请表》后传真或函寄我院。(传真:86-10-66412585、66413202 地址:中国·北京市西城区鲍家街43号中央音乐学院留学生办公室 邮政编码:100031),获得我院信息确认后本人须持:(1)经公证的学历证件及成绩单(可用复印件)(2)必要时提供两名教授的推荐信(报考博土研究生者)(3)本人所报专业演奏或演唱作品的30分钟录音带或本人创作的音乐作品或音乐论文(关于不同专业所需提供的报考材料,详情请参见我院网站公布的不同专业与教育层次的招生简章)到我院报名并参加专业考试。

3.关于申请者汉语水平的规定:申请本科,研究生及博士研究生的外国留学生,须提交由中央音乐学院外事办公室出具的《汉语水平证明》或中国汉语水平考试(HSK)初、中等证书(其中申请作曲、指挥、音乐学、音乐教育专业者须具有HSK高等证书),获得上述两项证明中的任意一项后即可转入专业课程的学习。对于申请进修的外国留学生在其汉语水平方面我院不作硬性规定。

四、录取

我院遵从择优录取的原则。申请本科生的外国留学生若通过了相应类别的专业课考试,将收到由中央音乐学院招生主管部门于3月31日(以当地邮戳为准)前寄发的《专业考试合格通知书》。正式被录取为本科生的外国留学生将收到7月15日(以当地邮戳为准)前寄发的《录取通知书》,被录取为硕士生、博士生的外国留学生将收到6月31日(以当地邮戳为准)前寄发的《录取通知书》,进修生收到录取通知书的具体时间请与相应的系处联系咨询。

五、报到

1.公费生: 须持JW201表、录取通知书、健康检查证明、CSC材料及6张半身(3.5 x 4.5cm)照片按指定日期来院报到。

2.自费生: 须持录取通知书、健康检查证明、6张半身(3.5 x 4.5cm)照片按指定日期来院报到。

3.所有新生入境后须在规定时间内持本人护照、《外国人体格检查记录》及血液化验报告单到北京市卫生检验检疫所办理健康认证,《外国人体格检查记录》及不合格者将被重新要求进行体检,拒不接受体检或经检查患有中国法律规定不得入境的疾病者,将被勒令离境回国。

4.根据中国教育部的规定,来华学习时间超过六个月的留学生需在我国大陆购买团体综合保险,。

六、费用

1. 本科生报考费:报名+初试 200元人民币,复试+三试 60元人民币

硕士研究生、博士生报考费:900元人民币

2.学费:

本科生:38000元人民币/学年

硕士研究生:43000元人民币/学年

博士生:48000元人民币/学年

普通进修生;43000元人民币/学年

高级进修生:48000元人民币/学年

学费于注册时付清,学生已缴学费,开课后退学或转学者学费不退。

3. 住宿费:

宿舍为双人间,每人每天50元人民币/床位,包房为100元人民币。住宿费在学期的第一周付清。

Admission Regulations for International Students

Requirement

1. Undergraduate Program: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and have attained a senior high school diploma, they will be accepted after qualification for the entrance examination. Students are required to complete the curriculum between 4 or 5 years (5 years for majors of composition, musicology, conducting, music education, vocal and opera). Upon graduation, students will receive a graduation certificate along with the bachelor’s degree.

2. Master’s Program: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and have attained a bachelor’s degree, they will be accepted after qualification for the entrance examination. Students are required to complete the curriculum between 2- 3 years, fulfill the designated number of credits, complete the master’s thesis and defend of it in front of a panel of experts. Graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the Master’s degree.

3. Doctorate Program: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and have attained a master’s degree, they will be accepted after qualification for the entrance examination. Students are required to complete the curriculum within 3 yeas (in normal circumstances) and fulfill the designated number of credits, conduct research, complete the doctoral thesis and defend it in front of the panel of experts. Graduates will receive a graduation certificate with doctoral degree.

4. General advanced study program: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and have attained a senior high school diploma or above. Students will receive a certificate for advanced study.

5. Senior Advanced Study Program: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and have attained a Master’s degree or above. Students will receive a certificate for the advanced study.

When to Apply

1. Applicants for the undergraduate program must visit and apply to http://www.ccom.edu.cn to submit the application form online in the beginning of December for the audition, and comes in person to audition in February or March next year. The qualified applicants will receive the formal Notice of Acceptation in July and register to study in September.

2. Applicants for the Master’s Program must visit http://www.ccom.edu.cn to review the Regulation for the Graduate Study Program in May and submit the application form for the entrance examination according to the indication of the Regulation. The accepted applicants will receive the formal Notice of Acceptation in July and register in September next year.

3. Applicants for the doctorate program must visit http://www.ccom.edu.cn to review the Regulation for the Graduate Study Program in January and submit the application form for the entrance examination according to the indication of the Regulation. The accepted applicants will receive the formal Notice of Acceptation in July and register to study in September.

4. Applicants for General Advanced Study or Senior Advanced Study can apply to the Foreign Students Office directly 3 or 4 months before the Entrance Date of March 1 or September 1.

Application

1. Students who have obtained scholarship from government must apply through the diplomatic channel by the department of their native countries.

2. An applicant for non-degree study may apply directly to the Foreign Students Affairs Office and request an Application Form or download the Application Form from the website of Central Conservatory of Music. ( click: www.ccom.edu.cn) and fax or mail to the International Student Affairs Office (fax: +86 10 -66412585, 66413202, address: No. 43, Baojia Street, Xicheng Dist. , post code: 100031).

3. The international students applying for undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral degree must be qualified for certain level of Chinese (provide the Certificate of Chinese Level by Foreign Affairs Office or Certificate of HSK Elementary – Intermediate, the certificate of Intermediate Level is necessary for the students applying to the composition, conducting, musicology and music education). The foreign students not reach the above level in Chinese language must take Chinese lessons for a year in International Music Exchange Centre of the Central Conservatory of Music to reach any one requirement of following item:

1. obtain the Certificate of Chinese Level provided by Foreign Affairs Office;

2. obtain the Certificate of HSK Elementary-intermediate.

There are no rigid rules on Chinese requirements for the international students who apply for advanced study.

Enrollment

The CCOM enrolls the students on the basis of competitive selection. The international students applying for undergraduate degree program will receive a Notice of quality for Speciality issued by Admission Office after passing the audition before March 31 (postmark). The accepted students applying for undergraduate degree will receive the formal Admission Notice before July 15 (postmark) and the accepted students applying for the master and doctoral degree will receive the formal Admission Notice before June 31 (postmark). The students applying for non-degree program should contact with related departments to consult the date for Notice of Admission.

Registration

1. Students by government scholarship should bring the Form JW201,the Admission Notice, “Health Certificate”, CSC materials and six passport sized photos(3.5cm x 4.5cm) with them for registration on the registration date shown in the Admission Notice.

2. Students by their own expense should bring the Admission Notice, “Health Certificate” and six passport sized photos(3.5cm x 4.5cm) with them for registration on the registration date shown in the Admission Notice.

3. All the foreign students are requested to bring their passport, Admission Notice, the Foreigner Physical Examination Form and the Blood test report to the local quarantine office within the set time to have their medical examination verified after they enter China. Foreign students whose Foreigner Physical Examination Form do not meet the requirement will have to re-take medical examination. Those who refuse to re-take the medical examination or are diagnosed as suffering from diseases that are not permitted to enter China under the Chinese Laws and regulations will be required to leave China.

Expenses

1. Examination Fee for undergraduate study: application and preliminary examination: 200 RMB; Second and third stages: 60 RMB

Examination Fee for Master’s and Doctorate Study: 900 RMB

2. Tuition Fee ( per year per person)

Undergraduate program: 38000RMB

Master’s Program: 43000 RMB

Doctorate Program: 48000 RMB

General Advanced Study Program: 43000 RMB

Senior Advanced Study Program: 48000 RMB

Students should pay all the fees on registration. The fees are non-refundable after registration even when students drop out or transfer into other schools.

3. Accommodation: All bedrooms are shared by two, 50 RMB a day for a shared room per person and 100 RMB for a single room. Rents should be paid in the first week of each term.
