
史付红,当代作曲家,中央音乐学院作曲系教授、博士研究生导师,曾于2015年被公派至美国纽约哥伦比亚大学担任访问学者。她是中国音乐家协会会员和中国民族管弦乐学会理事。
2000年,史付红在中央音乐学院获得作曲学士学位,并在世界知名作曲家和教授的指导下,分别获得加拿大维多利亚大学的作曲硕士学位和加拿大多伦多大学的作曲博士学位。
史付红的作品在中国、奥地利、美国(卡内基音乐厅)、加拿大、爱尔兰、墨西哥、日本等多个国家,以及中国香港特别行政区、中国台湾地区广泛上演、发行和播放,备受好评 。
她不仅是一位充满梦想的音乐创作者和教育者,也是一位致力于国际交流的“文化使者”。2010年,《多伦多星报》发表了对她的专访,标题为《与加拿大有缘的中国作曲家》。2012年,加拿大杂志《音乐作品》(Music Works)的资深记者(William Littler)在北京对她进行了访问,发表了题为《从东方到西方并再次归来——史付红缩短了距离》的专访。
史付红与中外众多知名乐团有深入合作,包括中国国家大剧院音乐厅交响乐团、中央音乐学院交响乐团、北京交响乐团、深圳交响乐团、上海爱乐交响乐团、河南交响乐团、香港中乐团,以及加拿大温哥华交响乐团、加拿大国家艺术中心交响乐团、加拿大Esprit交响乐团等。她还在多个国际知名的音乐学院和大学举办过作曲讲座,如曼哈顿音乐学院、伊萨卡大学音乐学院、美国纽约哥伦比亚大学、加拿大多伦多大学等。
史付红创作的作品曾多次荣获作曲奖项。2018年,她的作品《山鬼》获得意大利Donne In Music作曲比赛一等奖。2014年,作品《对话》获得中国民族管弦乐学会“新绎杯”青年作曲家比赛铜奖。管弦乐作品《同心圆》入选中国国家大剧院首届青年作曲家计划决赛,并被库客音乐出版。2008年,她还获得加拿大蒙特利尔新音乐团“Generation 2008”作曲奖;2007年,《炫彩》获得加拿大Karen Kieser现代音乐作曲奖一等奖;2006年,获得加拿大国家艺术中心女性作曲家奖;1997年,《声声慢》获得中国台湾省立交响乐团第六届征曲比赛佳作奖。
自2010年以来,史付红多次获得中国教育部、国家艺术基金、北京市教育委员会、中央音乐学院及爱尔兰艺术委员会等机构的作曲及研究项目资助。
2018年,史付红的室内乐作品音乐会《归去来兮》在中央音乐学院歌剧音乐厅举办,并由北京环球音像出版社出版同名音乐专辑。2021年,由国家艺术基金资助的大型交响乐《声音拼图》三部曲音乐会再次在该音乐厅举办,音乐专辑和乐谱将分别由北京环球音像出版社和中央音乐学院出版社出版。
Biography
Fuhong Shi is a contemporary composer, professor, and doctoral supervisor in the Composition Department at the Central Conservatory of Music (CCoM) in Beijing China. In 2015, she served as a visiting scholar at Columbia University in New York, USA. She is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association and serves as a council member of the Chinese Nationalities Orchestra Society.
In 2000, Fuhong Shi earned her bachelor's degree in composition from the CCoM. Under the guidance of world-renowned composers and professors, she obtained her Master's degree in composition from the University of Victoria in Canada and her Doctoral degree in composition from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Her works have been widely performed, published, and broadcast in various countries, including China, Austria, the United States (Carnegie Hall), Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Japan, as well as in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, China, receiving high acclaim.
Not only is she a dream-filled music creator and educator, but she is also a “cultural ambassador” dedicated to international exchange. In 2010, The Toronto Star published an interview with her titled Chinese composer has Canadian connection. In 2012, William Littler, a senior journalist from Music Works, interviewed her in Beijing, publishing an article entitled Fuhong Shi Closes the Distance - From East to West and back again.
Fuhong Shi has collaborated extensively with many renowned orchestras, including the National Centre for the Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra, the CCoM Symphony Orchestra, the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Henan Symphony Orchestra, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra (HKCO), as well as the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Canada, and the Esprit Orchestra, among others. She has also conducted composition lectures at several internationally recognized music schools and universities, such as the Manhattan School of Music, Ithaca College, Columbia University in New York, and the University of Toronto.
Her compositions have won numerous awards. In 2018, her work Mountain Spirits won first place in the Donne In Music composition competition in Italy. In 2014, her piece Dialogue received the bronze award in the Youth Composer Competition of the Chinese Nationalities Orchestra Society. The orchestral piece Concentric Circles was selected for the finals of the inaugural Young Composers Project at the National Centre for the Performing Arts and was published by KuKe Music. In 2008, she won the Generation 2008 composition award from the Ensemble Contemporain de Montréal+ (ECM+) Composer’s Competition in Canada. In 2007, her work Lightenings received first place in the Karen Kieser Contemporary Music Composition Prize in Canada. In 2006, she was awarded the Women Composers' Prize from the National Arts Centre in Canada. In 1997, her piece Sheng Sheng Man won an award in the sixth Call for Composition Competition of the Taiwan Provincial Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2010, Fuhong Shi has received funding for composition and research projects from various organizations including the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, China National Arts Fund (CNAF), Beijing Municipal Education Commission, CCoM and Irish Arts Council (Irish Language Art Songs project 2019).
In 2018, her chamber music concert Return was held at the Opera & Concert Hall of the CCoM, and a corresponding music album was published by Beijing Universal Audio-Video Publishing House. In 2021, a large symphonic trilogy Sound Jigsaw, funded by the CNAF, was performed again at the same hall, with the music album and score to be published by Beijing Universal Audio-Video Publishing House and the Central Conservatory of Music Press, respectively.
