周佼佼，博士、作曲家、制作人、中央音乐学院作曲系副教授、硕士生导师，美国加州大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）电影音乐系访问学者, 现任丹尼奖国际电子音乐比赛执行主席、评委会主席，未来公园国际大学生音乐节执行主席，丹佛国际科技艺术节音乐总监，曾任北京国际电子音乐节演出总监，北京国际电影音乐节执行总监。
Dr. Zhou Jiaojiao is a composer, producer, associate professor at Composition Department of Central Conservatory of Music, and visiting scholar at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She serves as Executive Director and Jury President of Denny Awards International Electronic Music Competition, Executive Director of F Park Festival, Music Director of Denver International Festival of Arts & Technology (DIFAT). She previously served as Production Director of Musicacoustica - Beijing and Executive Director of Beijing International Film Music Festival (BJIFMF).
周佼佼2001年考入中央音乐学院，师从于张小夫教授，于2006年保送研究生，2009年获得“宝钢优秀学生特等奖”，2010年博士毕业后留校任教。作为青年学者，先后于2006年、2009年赴德国国家电视台（SWR）和法国国家视听研究院学习深造，2011年周佼佼获得国家留学基金委“百位艺术特殊人才培养计划”公派赴美国加州大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）学习电影音乐作曲，师从日籍作曲家保罗·切哈拉（Paul Chihara）和【泰坦尼克】作曲家 詹姆斯·霍纳（James Horner）。
Dr. Zhou began her studies at Central Conservatory of Music in 2001 under Professor Zhang Xiaofu, and received a recommendation-based admission to graduate school in 2006. In 2009, she was awarded “Baosteel Outstanding Student Special Prize”. After earning her Ph.D. in 2010, she joined the faculty at the same university. At a young scholar, she undertook advanced studies at Germany’s Southwest Broadcasting (SWR) in 2006 and at France’s National Audiovisual Institute (INA) in 2009. In 2011, as one of recipients of “Hundred Exceptional Arts Talents Training Program” administered by China Scholarship Council (CSC), she was sponsored to undertake advanced training in Film Scoring at UCLA, where she studied under Paul Chihara and James Horner.

作为年轻的舞台剧作曲家，周佼佼自25岁起，开始与美国导演Dennis Law合作创作中国第一部摇滚音乐剧《美猴王》， 2009年受夏威夷剧院委约创作舞台剧《夏威夷热鼓热舞》，2011年受拉斯维加斯FASHOW SHOW剧院委约创作音乐剧《Senses》等。自26岁起，周佼佼先后创作数十部影视音乐作品，包括《迷城》、《为你而来》、《奥戈》、《启功》、《六人晚餐》、《寻找罗麦》、《遇见你真好》、《白色婚礼》、《誓言》等。其配乐电影《人山人海》曾获69届威尼斯电影节银狮奖，法国南特三大洲电影节金热气球奖，《白色婚礼》获得好莱坞金影节最佳外语片，动画电影《衣柜里的秘密》获UCLA动画电影节最佳动画电影，参与的电影《万物三生》获得2022柏林国际艺术电影节最佳编剧和导演奖，匈牙利布达佩斯电影节最佳导演提名等。
As a young stage composer, Dr. Zhou, when she was 25 years old, worked with American Director Dennis Law to finish China’s first rock opera Monkey King. In 2009 and 2011, she was commissioned respectively by Hawaii Theatre to participate in creating the stage play Heartbeat and by Fashion Show Las Vegas to compose the original score for the musical Senses. Since she was 26 years old, Dr. Zhou has started to compose scores for dozens of films, including Distant Thunde, Come for You, Diago, The Calligraphy Master, Youth Dinner, Looking for Rohmer, Nice To Meet You, White Wedding, The Pledge. The film People Mountain People Sea won the Silver Lion for Best Director at the 69th Venice Film Festival and received the Golden Hot Air Balloon Award at the France Nantes Three Continents Film Festival. Additionally, White Wedding was awarded Best Foreign Language Film at the Hollywood Golden Film Festival. The animated film The Secret in the Wardrobe won the Best Animated Film at the UCLA Animation Film Festival. The film Three Wishes received the Best Screenplay and Director Award at the 2022 Berlin International Art Film Festival and was also nominated for Best Director at the Budapest Film Festival in Hungary.
2015年获国家艺术基金青年创作人才项目，创造大型交响音乐诗《五行》，2016年周佼佼与好莱坞电影配乐大师汉斯·季默（Hans Zimmer）合作为苹果手机制作音乐系列《To The Air》，2016年-2018年，周佼佼在美国丹佛大学纽曼剧场举办个人作品音乐会《战争与和平》与《Ode to Nature》，并由美国Albany唱片公司全球发行DVD与CD。2019年起，周佼佼陆续与美国FOX福克斯、迪士尼、皮克斯等影视制作公司合作，从事影视、动画等项目的制作与文化IP的开发。
In 2015, she was awarded the Young Creative Talents Project from National Art Fund (CNAF), during which she composed the large-scale symphonic musical poem Five Elements. In 2016, she collaborated with Hans Zimmer to create To the Air, an innovative music production series designed specifically for iPhone platforms. From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Zhou presented War and Peace and Ode to Nature, two concerts of original compositions, at Newman Center for the Performing Arts of University of Denver. Since 2019, she has successively collaborated with major studios including FOX, Disney, and Pixar, engaging in film/TV/animated production and cultural IP development initiatives.
作为全球电子音乐“奥斯卡”级别的赛事（丹尼奖）的创始人和执行总监，为了鼓励全球青年艺术家形成跨国家、跨院校、跨专业的沟通与交流，周佼佼于2019年成立丹尼国际艺术交流中心（DIAC），并发展旗下「未来星程国际教育FSSA」「国际青年影音创意展」「未来公园国际大学生音乐节（F Park）」等品牌项目。丹尼国际艺术交流中心创立期间，参与了中央民族大学疏勒古乐传播项目，厦门大学「嘉书」交响诗剧音乐创作，2024年参与世界职业技能教育大会和大赛音乐创作，并收到教育部感谢信。
As the founder and executive director of the Denny Awards - widely regarded as the "Oscars of Electronic Music" - Dr. Zhou Jiaojiiao established the Denny International Arts Center (DIAC) in 2019 to facilitate global artistic exchange among young talents across national borders, academic institutions and disciplines. Under her leadership, DIAC has developed flagship initiatives, including Future Star Study Abroad (FSSA), International Youth Media Arts Festival, and Future Park International Collegiate Music Festival (F Park). Since the establishment pf DIAC, Dr. Zhou participated in Shule Ancient Music Dissemination Project of Minzu University of China, composition of the symphonic poem-drama Jiashu 2963 for Xiamen University, and musical composition for World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference in 2024, receiving a letter of thanks from Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
作为流行音乐制作人，先后为陈奕迅、刘德华、容祖儿、杨千嬅、莫文蔚、古天乐等歌曲制作编曲，全程制作谭咏麟《2008爱的根源》，与周杰伦杰合作创作电影《第一次》配乐，并由杰威尔音乐公司全球发行电影原声碟。
As a renowned pop music producer, Dr. Zhou has produced and arranged songs for numerous A-list singers including Eason Chan, Andy Lau, Jory Yung, Miriam Yeung, Karen Mok, Louis Koo, and others. She was fully involved in the production of Alan Tam’s album Origin of Love in 2008, and co-composed the soundtrack for the movie First Time with Jay Chou. The original motion picture soundtrack was subsequently released worldwide by JVR Music.
周佼佼的每年均有新作品在法国布尔吉斯音乐节、波兰国际电子音乐节、塞尔维亚声音艺术节、北京国际电子音乐节、北京现代音乐节等国内外重要音乐节上演，作品演出遍及美国、加拿大、德国、法国、塞尔维亚、香港、北京、上海等地，累计音乐作品演出近千场。
Dr. Zhou’s new works have consistently premiered at leading global festivals including Bourges International Electroacoustic Music Festival, Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music, Ring Ring Festival in Serbia, Beijingacoustica - Beijing, and Beijing Modern Music Festival. Her works have been performed in over 1,000 concerts across North America (the U.S., Canada), Europe (Germany, France, Serbia), and Asia (Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai).
